Southwest regional award winners

Congratulations to Sean O'Brien, the 2011 Doherty Award winner and Michael Trulson, the 2011 Schulz Award winner.  Both received Southwest Regional Awards which will be given at the awards banquet at SWRM on November 11, 2011.  Our section is very honored that both our nominees have received these prestigious awards

 

 

2011 ACS Fellows

Congratulations to the following five DFW Local Section members who have been named as 2011 ACS Fellows: Kenneth Balkus (University of Texas at Dallas), Robert Larsen (Alcon Research Ltd), Diana Mason (University of North Texas), James Marshall (University of North Texas), and Patricia Smith (TriQuint Semiconductor).
